My wife and I met Greg purely by chance at an open house he was hosting. We had been looking in a certain neighbourhood and had been to many homes and met many realtors. Unlike ALL the other Realtors the second we met Greg we were put at ease by his ABSOLUTELY no pressure approach. We spent close to 25 minutes in the home completely on our own and then Greg chatted with us on our way out after we’d done our own assessment. We told him our thoughts and bottom line and he was 100% straight with us on whether he thought we could do a deal at our price. Greg was in constant touch with us over the next few weeks as he went back and forth with the owners and as we chose not to retain another Realtor, Greg acted for both US and the SELLER. Greg NEVER tried to “arm twist” us or give us unrealistic promises but just terrific guidance on how to write up an offer that he was confident would work. And BOOM we ended up buying the house just slightly above our bottom line AFTER the Seller came down SIGNIFICANTLY. Documents, signing, closing and EVERYTHING went smooth as silk as Greg guided us through the process.

We were so impressed that we asked Greg if he would sell our existing home we were living in now that we’d bought this new home. Again, Greg was extremely realistic in his assessment of our home which was actually MORE than we thought, so we listed with him. He hosted ONE open house for Realtors only for ONE day. On that day 14 or 15 Realtors attended and by dinner time that day we had 2 full priced offers and 1 that was $10K ABOVE list price which we accepted. Again the contracts, documents, closing etc. went off PERFECTLY and within 12 days of the open house, this deal CLOSED. We also found out that the person we bought our NEW house from had used Greg again to purchase their NEW house they moved into.

We have a LOT of friends who are Realtors and a number who also MANAGE Real Estate firms and with all due respect, we’d NEVER use one of them,  as NONE will ever be able to provide us the service, professional knowledge, communication skills, calm demeanour, and NO PRESSURE skills that Greg lives both in and out of work.

On our possession date, WHO was cleaning our garage and yard from the previous owner…GREG. Who MOVED the old washing machine from the basement … GREG. Who fixed the codes on the garage door opener … GREG. Who had the previous owner pay for painting the interior of the house … GREG. Who arranged for hauling trash from the previous owner within 24 hours of possession … GREG !!! He’s unbelievable.

We’ve been watching Realtor / Real Estate TV shows for years and seeing these folks in New York and LA, etc. and how they work. We always wondered (knowing our Realtor friends) is ANYONE in Calgary could match the service the Realtors on TV show. Well his name in Greg Squire and he “smokes” ALL those folks on TV by FAR.

Do yourself your BIGGEST FAVOUR EVER if you want to transact a home sale or purchase. Throw away EVERY Realtor’s name in Calgary and area, and contact Greg Squire. END OF STORY. We will regret if forever if you use anyone else but Greg believe me.

We CANNOT recommend Greg more HIGHLY than we do. From a “by chance” meeting to the greatest real estate transactions we could have EVER imagined, this incredible journey with Greg will without question go down as on one the most pleasurable experiences of our lives.

Greg Squire took over for us as realtor when our house on the outskirts of Calgary wasn’t selling. We had had it listed with another realtor for over 1 year.
